The last days of the old Greater Pittsburgh Terminal

My grandparents were at the opening of the old Greater Pittsburgh International terminal in the 1950s, so I suppose it was fitting that I was there for the terminal’s last day. The photo below does not depict that particular day, but fate was closing in on the old building. I was about a half mile or so away when the last remnants were brought down, and I recall a great cloud of yellowish dust marking the end.

Old Pittsburgh terminal waiting for the end.
